Pool resurfacing across the Phoenix Valley
When your pool's surface turns rough or blotchy, a new finish fixes it without rebuilding the pool. You pick plaster, quartz, pebble, or mini pebble, and our own crew puts it on.
Signs your pool surface has worn out
Old plaster gets rough on feet and snags swimsuits. Stains show up as it ages, and small cracks can start to spread.
Sun and hard water wear a finish down faster here. Once it gets bad, no amount of brushing brings it back.
- Rough spots that scrape feet
- Stains that don't lift with brushing or chemicals
- Plaster that's flaking or sounds hollow when tapped
- Old patches that don't match the rest of the pool

Pick the finish by how you use the pool
Plaster costs the least and gives the classic smooth look. Quartz adds color and holds up better than plain plaster.
Pebble generally lasts the longest, but you can feel the stones underfoot. Mini pebble uses smaller stones, so it's smoother on feet than standard pebble.
Planning to stay in the house for years? A longer-lasting finish can be worth the higher price. We'll go over the look and feel of each at your free visit.

What happens on a resurfacing job
First the pool is drained. Then the old surface is chipped out or prepped so the new finish bonds to the shell.
Once the new finish is on, the pool is refilled. A fresh finish needs brushing and careful water balance in its first weeks, and our start-up service can handle that for you.

Do the tile while the pool is empty
Resurfacing is the easiest time to replace waterline tile, since the pool is already drained. A cracked skimmer or loose coping can be fixed in the same project.
Doing it together means one drain and one round of prep. Most of our projects take 1 to 4 weeks.

Does my pool need resurfacing or just a repair?
A small crack or chip can often be patched. If rough spots and stains cover a lot of the pool, a new surface makes more sense. We'll tell you which one at your free visit.
Which finish lasts the longest?
Pebble generally lasts longer than plaster or quartz. Plaster costs less up front. It comes down to price and how long you plan to keep the pool.
Do you have to drain my pool?
Yes. The pool has to be empty so the old surface can be prepped and the new finish can go on. It's refilled once the finish is on.
How long does resurfacing take?
Most of our projects take 1 to 4 weeks, and adding new tile or coping makes it longer. You'll get a schedule before we start.
How much does pool resurfacing cost?
It depends on the size of your pool and the finish you pick. Plaster is the lower-cost choice, and pebble costs more. The on-site estimate is free.
Will a pebble finish feel rough?
You'll feel some texture with standard pebble. Mini pebble is smoother because the stones are smaller. Plaster and quartz feel the smoothest.
Should I replace my tile at the same time?
If your tile is cracked or crusted with scale, it's a good time. The pool is already empty, so you skip a second drain later.
Can I finance a resurfacing job?
Yes, through Lyon Financial. Ask about it when we come out for your estimate.

Geovani was a super star to work with. His team came in and chipped, hauled and gave our pool a major glow up in record time! Three things come to mind when working with Geovani. 1. Customer satisfaction. We originally picked a tile and when we got it, realized it was not it. We picked a new one and were super pumped when it arrived. He handled the return and that process. He wanted us happy. It felt more than just replacing our pool. He cares about what you want! 2. His pricing and quality. Our pool surface is so smooth. No lumps, bumps and they even added our waterline tile in the steps. It’s a unique and beautiful pool. Can’t believe it’s ours! 3. Communication. I loved communicating in Slack. Genius! 10/10 would recommend. His reviews are legit and should we need his services in the future, we won’t hesitate to reach out. That also includes referrals! Attached before and afters. Aqua azul with coldwater tile for the waterline and we did do a bag of glass beads (had them apply more to the steps for that extra ✨ sparkle!).
