Pool remodeling in Gilbert
Gilbert grew from a farm town into one of the Valley's biggest suburbs, mostly in newer HOA neighborhoods. Many of its pools are still on their first finish.

Newer pools, first finish starting to go
Much of Gilbert was built in the last few decades, so most pools there still have the finish they started with. If that first coat is plain plaster, it's often the first thing to show wear.
Not every newer pool needs a full resurface. If the finish is stained but sound, our Revival Package cleans it and adds a protective layer. Our Microglass coating is another option for a surface that's still in good shape.

HOA approval for deck and coping changes
Most Gilbert neighborhoods have an HOA. A new deck, new coping, or added hardscape may need approval before work starts.
Ask your HOA what it wants to see. We can talk through your plans at the free visit.

Small lots and narrow side yards
Newer lots are often tight, with a narrow side yard between block walls. Materials still have to get to the backyard.

My Gilbert pool is only about 10 years old. Does it need resurfacing already?
Maybe not. A newer finish that looks stained or dull can often be cleaned and protected with our Revival Package. We'll tell you at the visit if it's worn past that point.
Do I need HOA approval to remodel my pool?
It depends on the work and your HOA's rules. Changes to the deck, coping or hardscape are the ones to ask about first.
My side gate is narrow. Is that a problem?
Point it out at the visit, and we'll talk through how materials get to the backyard.
Should I upgrade from plaster to pebble?
If you plan to stay a while, it's worth a look. Pebble costs more than plaster up front but lasts longer. Mini pebble feels smoother if regular pebble is too rough for you.
How long will my yard be torn up?
Most remodels take 1 to 4 weeks. Adding a new deck makes the job longer, and you'll get the schedule before work starts.
Can I finance a Gilbert pool remodel?
Yes. Lyon Financial offers financing on our work, including finish upgrades and new decks.
