If your plaster or pebble is still sound but looks dull or stained, you may not need a new finish yet. The Revival Package cleans the surface with an acid wash, then seals it with Microglass.

Plaster and pebble finishes lose their shine over the years. Buildup on the surface can make a pool look old even when the shell and finish are in good shape.
When that's the case, a full resurfacing may be more than you need.

Two steps: an acid wash, then Microglass
First, a professional acid wash deep-cleans the surface and brings back its brightness. The pool has to be empty for this step, so the acid can reach the finish.
Then we apply Microglass, a clear coating that seals the finish. It helps keep algae and minerals from sticking hard to the plaster or pebble.
What the Revival Package won't fix
It's a refresh, not a repair. If your finish is rough or flaking, you'll likely need resurfacing instead, and cracks in the shell need structural crack repair first.
We'll tell you at the free visit whether a revival is enough or it's time for a new finish.

What's included in the Revival Package?
Two things: a professional acid wash to deep-clean the surface, then a coat of Microglass to seal and protect it.
How is this different from resurfacing?
Resurfacing puts a brand-new finish on the pool. The Revival Package cleans and seals the finish you already have, so it only makes sense when that finish is still sound.
Does it work on pebble or only plaster?
It's meant for both plaster and pebble finishes. We check your surface at the visit to make sure it's a good fit.
Will it remove every stain?
An acid wash takes off a lot of surface staining and buildup, but some deep stains can stay. We look at your stains during the free visit, before you decide.
Can I acid wash my pool every year?
It's not something to repeat often. An acid wash removes a thin layer of the surface each time, so it's best saved for when the pool really needs it.
Should I do this or save for a new finish?
If your finish is smooth and holding up, a revival helps extend its life. If it's rough or failing, put that money toward resurfacing instead.
How much does the Revival Package cost?
It's a smaller job than resurfacing, since you keep your current finish. The price depends on your pool's size, and you get it at a free on-site estimate.
